
The value of Google Pagerank is still a much-debatable issue. And until someone can provide incontestable proof that Google Pagerank isn’t worth your time anymore, you may use the following tips to improve the pagerank of your website.
Content as always "is still the king". How would you want the search engine spiders to trust you (trust you to give a higher rank) if your content does not deserve to be given that distinction. Aside from the search bots loving your site, it should be the very first priority of an aspiring web master to provide quality content for the human readers, of course.
Link Building - Not too many SEO experts can contest the value of link building in ensuring that that green toolbar gets longer when the next update happens. There is that old way of reciprocal link building (I -ink-to-your-site provided you link to my site practice). However, most would now prefer the one-way link since as experts would say, it very much displays the value of a site that a reciprocal link is not required to link to it.
But if you would like to start with the reciprocal linking route, start with new websites since their webmasters are easier to convince to exchange links with you.
