As usual, although Google didn’t hold a press conference about the experiments being performed by their Adsense team, it still got noticed by observant Internet users. Two, in particular, have received lots of buzz.
The first was the sudden appearance of link units at the bottom of the common Adsense text ads.
The second featured a “Show More” link. Clicking it would lead the users to another page with related advertisements.
But it doesn’t end there. Google also pays attention to user feedback, such as the case of PageRank and the belief of many webmasters that it’s no longer of any value to them. It has been reported that Google is considering this a serious issue, indeed.
Of course, it’s good for the Internet community that Google’s seeking ways to improve itself since the company certainly hasn’t been perfect. In quite a risible incident, Google mistook its own blog as spam and deleted it. Whoah! Too much of a perfectionist that it discovers its own flaws and even gets rid of it, huh?
