Search engine optimization is not only useful to clean reputation as many companies utilize this service. For publishers, it means more money. Of course, that's not something new. However, now that many online frequenters or surfers know when a site is keyword spamming his or her content, how do you avoid annoying your visitors while keeping the search engine bots fascinated with your site to keep that good search engine placement?
I read a large number of web content writers' sites and since it's their bread and butter to produce SEO-friendly content for websites without alienating readers, I've learned a thing or two on how to optimize web content without compromising traffic retention.
This will be a series of tips that I will start with the research of relevant keywords. If your content is filled with relevant keywords that materializes an info-packed with the right words and yet well-written piece of article, you hit two birds in one stone. In writing your content, it is not only important to keep relevant thoughts aflowing to get your readers nodding or their thoughts provoked, it's also good in making the search engines give you a good pagerank.
If you're a skilled web content writer, most of the time you don't have to research to craftfully compose a fun-to-read keyword-rich writeup. But if you don't have much stock knowledge about a certain topic but would like to come up with a great article about it, keyword research tools can help.
Here are some of the tools that I enjoy using for keyword research:
WordTracker's Free Keyword Suggestion Tool![]()
Most of the results from these two tools lead me to longtail keywords, which many SEO experts define as the actual group of keywords that search engine users use to find certain info. Say for the keyword "AdSense", results will show "top paying AdSense keywords", "black hat AdSense secret", "how to make most money with Google AdSense", etc.
Then, take note of the relevant keywords with their exact word arrangement or orders. However, I do this keyword research only when I'm running out of inspiration to go on with my content writing and when I know that the topic is too broad.
What are your thoughts on this method of using SEO in writing your content?
