If you can't get enough of AdSense earnings trackers like AdLogger, AdSpyTracker, ByteSense and other AdSense profit monitors (which are, by the way, reportedly starting to not get support from Google or something to that effect) you might want to try AdSense Buddy.
It is a freeware that I stumbled upon while reading Joel Comm's blog. It aims not only to monitor how much you earn from AdSense while it happens, but to also act as a spot where you can take note of your AdSense experiments and see which works for you ads and website and which doesn't. ![]()
What exactly is the importance of AdSense Buddy? Here's Joel Comm's statement on how an AdSense journal, which the AdSense Buddy can serve as, can help:
That journal should contain details of all the changes you've made to the way you present your ads. By looking at your AdSense Journal, you should be able to tell how much using a smaller ad unit would cost you. You should be able to see what happens when you write content that targets a different keyword. You should be able to understand which parts of your page generate the most clicks and for which units.
You should have all the information you need so that if you do consider making a change, you'll know exactly how that change is likely to affect your revenue. It's like having a complete financial blueprint for your websites.
