
The Google AdSense team never cease to experiment on various forms and looks of ad formats. One of their not so new experiment is the tabbed ads. I have seen some of these tabbed ads a few weeks ago from some sites but I thought they're only tweaked by the AdSense publisher until I've read about them from the Marketing Pilgrim blog.
The ads are different in two distinct ways:
* They are tabbed. The three tabs deliver different content, titled Searches, Web Pages, and Videos.
* Two of the tabs have links that lead to Google search results and to Google’s Videos page, as opposed to the standard contextual ads that lead straight to the advertiser’s page
