Every AdSense publisher's dream is to have a high CTR. But not many really knows how to make their CTR spike.
Brad Callen, the SEO expert behind KeywordElite and SEOElite has shared his thoughts on how to make earning from AdSense a tad easier by increasing CTR.
Although most of his tips are the generic ones like optimal ad positions, blending colors, choosing your ad formats, and ad section targeting, one tip stood out for me:
"So first you have to figure out what your readers want. Then you have to make sure that your ads match that."
If you're business is to REALLY earn from AdSense, it just makes sense to make clicking on your ads a lot easier by including content that will either pique more the curiosity of your readers wanting them to look for more informating and consequently making them eager to click on ads. Content that is easy for the AdSense spiders to match an ad to is the key. If your content have no product match that any of the AdSense advertisers have, it would be hard for the AdSense spiders to serve ads that will match your content.
