Publishers are afraid of accidentally clicking on their ads, resulting to their banishment from the Google Adsense environment and other Yahoo contextual network programs. Thanks to contextual ad publishers, the Click-O-Phobia illness is remedied.
This is because google lets the home site owners click on their own ads.
When you see a Google Adsense ad in the form of a video with a play button, just click. However, do not click on the ads that appear within the video. That remains to be off-limits.
Google has proclaimed that there are ad units pretty much appropriate for AdWords. Thse are ad formats that are displayed on home pages. However, these videos are nowhere to be found on Google.
Just like the other Google services, the beginning process of adapting this new opportunity might be a bit slow but with enough investment, this new format will kick off the ground and gain the speed it needs to succeed.
Advertisers promote Google because of the rich video advertisements it provides to home page owners. At least with Google Adsense, the advertisers need not produce video ads themselves.
The ads may not lead to sales but it sure is a cheap way to be recognized, which is quite important if the business, in this case the home page, is just starting. Advertisers need not pay the people to check out the video. One click will do the work for them. Regardless of money being apparent, users often bookmark the site where they found what they have been looking
for.
