Making money online through Adsense and other ad networks

I found these 10 tips to Improve Your AdSense CTR  and it mentioned the usual tips on how to optimize your Google AdSense ad-served pages through section targetting, using border and background for ads that matches the background of your site, the recommended ad format - Large Rectangle: 336×280, Medium Rectangle: 300×250 and Leaderboard: 728×90, best link color (it suggested green but I'm still for blue adSense links).

But what I appreciated the most is the inclusion of tips for referrals:

"Google adsense team has recently approved to convince the users to try a product provided with the referrals units."

Do not show a Firefox referral unit for Firefox users. You can show a picaza referral instead!
