Testing is one of the more income-generating processes that webmasters or bloggers fail to give ample importance to. No amount of ad blending or mimicking tips will ever surmount the fulfillment that knowing the results of these changes brings.

* You are to track your Page impressions and CTR (click-through rate) in this test. One way of testing your ads is to compare the results of a page to itself than to another page.
1) Track the page by adding a Channel to the code.
2) Write down the date you start a new format.
3) Get the Channel report from AdSense for the applicable dates (i.e., before and after the format change).
4) If your change has decreased your income, switch back to the original format, or try a third format. If your income has gone up, keep the change, or experiment to see if you can increase it again.
