Making money online through Adsense and other ad networks

There really is not much harm in trying out other website or blog monetization methods aside from Google's Adsense. It's not usually helpful to put your eggs in just one basket. So here's more sources of income for your websites or blogs.

Kontera's starting to gain more popularity, too. Ever see those underlined words which display bubbles of information and links when pointed with a cursor? However, some publishers and commenters are starting to get annoyed with those bubbles. What's your take?
