Making money online through Adsense and other ad networks

Through the test of time, certain locations tend to be more successful than others.

Google has created a "heat map" that illustrates the "hot" spots where the ads are performing well.

The dark orange represents the best ad placement, while the light yellow has the weakest performance.

When a user enters a website,  the usual focus is the center where most of the content are.   This is why the big rectangle google ads perform well on this area.

This heat map is not the end of it.  This is a good starting point although most people are already happy with these placements,  if you have the time,  make tests and see the difference if you place your ads on the right instead of the left.

There is nothing better than have an actual test of different ad placements and see the actual results.

Who knows,  a single ad placement change might double your adsense earnings.
